余红星近日被免去政协荆州市第四届委员会副主席、常委职务。此前，中央纪委监察部网站6月27日发布的消息透露：“湖北省纪委对荆州市政协副主席余红星涉嫌严重违纪问题进行立案调查，目前余红星正接受组织调查。”(记者 梁建强)
